New Personal Best in Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster

I finally hit a new PB in Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster with a run time of 2:36:15. I’ve been grinding this route for a while and everything finally lined up. My team wrapped up the run at levels 51 and 52 which felt almost perfect for the pace I was pushing. The boost settings definitely helped keep things moving because I had GP and EXP set to 4x. It let me skip a lot of extra grinding and stay focused on routing and execution instead of getting stuck in random battles for too long.

The run wasn’t flawless but it felt smooth in all the right places. A few fights went way better than expected and I managed to avoid some of the usual time sinks that have ruined past attempts. There’s still room for improvement but shaving the time down to 2:36 feels like a huge step forward. It’s the kind of run that makes you want to queue up another attempt right away just to see how much further you can push it.

For now I’m just excited to see the progress paying off and to finally have a time that reflects the hours I’ve put in. I’m planning to refine a couple more splits and maybe tighten up some menuing but hitting this PB feels great.
